What is the best way to build a pool hall for a small indoor pool in your garden?


When Architects design pool halls they invariably put the building on conventional foundations and the pool is then built by excavation within the building and completely separate from the building foundations as shown here.

This not only costs more but also results in all the services being buried. If there is a leak amongst the many pipes that are carrying water underground, then the floor of the pool hall has to be completely dug up to find and repair the leak.

All Bluepools indoor pool projects are built with an "Undercroft" as shown in the following sketches. This design approach is cheaper to build and provides instant long-term access to the back of the pool walls and all the pipework, cabling and lights - it is a "no-brainer" and every Architect should design all indoor pools on this basis!
