Hydrotherapy or balneotherapy at your UK Swimming Pool

You don't have to have a Spa to get the Hydrotherapy benefits.

Hydrotherapy is a generic term for water therapies using jets, underwater massage and mineral baths and is also known as balneotherapy, Iodine-Grine therapy, Swiss shower as well as loads of other names such as a whirlpool bath, hot tub, Roman pool, Jacuzzi, cold plunge and even a mineral bath.

These treatments use physical water properties, such as temperature and pressure, for therapeutic purposes, to stimulate blood circulation and treat disease symptoms.

The important thing is that this hydrotherapy equipment and jets can be put in conventional pool without all the cost of a seperate spa - especially if you have a heated pool. Just to spoil yourself you can turn the temperature up to the maximum allowed by the liner (normally 32 or 33 degrees C) and then enjoy yourself in your own balneotherapy bliss without have to pay an arm and a leg for a separate spa.
